After Size In The Park transformed into Size In The Water Park… Pacha NYC's After Party never looked so good. I figured it would be a safe bet to sit the day party out and grab the after party by the horns fully rested. It seemed to be the best decision of the weekend. Steve Angello and fellow BroBot, Junior Sanchez, played the dirtiest sets I've heard in a minute from both of them. Steve Angello took to the decks pretty late on the count between Size In The Park and Pacha NYC Steve actually detoured to New Jersey's 4Sixty6 for a quick set as well. 3 events in one day… triple booking it or working hard? Either way I don't think anyone got the performance like Pacha NYC did. The music was cranked and Steve played some dark ass tunes, a complete 360 from what most people must of been expecting. A tech house bonanza. Steve Angello controlled the heart of Pacha with a steady pulse serging through all levels of the clubs and occupants. AN21 & Max Vangeli even stopped by for big bro's/labelmate's shindig. Pacha is huge and must have been close to its capacity on this night, the entire establishment was overflowing with people doing it BIG… Why? Because Size Matters.
06/22/2012- Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano are rapidly rising through the ranks in EDM. Their talent truly makes them the most promising artists in the industry. Starting their set off fresh with Joe Brunning's "Let Me See You Work" really set the tempo of their set for the entire night. SJRM have played at Pacha NY before so taking control of the reigns of the bass infused lair feels like second nature to these entertainers. Watching these guys perform you realize the bond they have is one of a kind. They work perfectly together never disturbing one anthers workflow, flawless. The epitome of dynamic duo. With a few ties to Size Records, it leaves no mystery as to why they dropped their refixxx to Swedish House Mafia's "Antidote". They continued to bless the crowd with an all time favorite "Tribeca" bootlegged with Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" Acapella. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano played an ID featuring a vocal pronouncing "DRUMS" and then an epic drop later on revealing it is a new collaboration with Chocolate Puma. Finishing off their set around 5:30 in the morning with the anthem "Lethal Industry". I know I don't speak for myself when I say I am eager to see what Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have in store for their Amazone Project…
04/19/2012 - There are few artists in electronic dance music today who really know how to cater to their audience and Porter Robinson is definitely one of them. He begun his performance keeping a nice and steady pace gradually bringing the crowd up to his level, something they couldn't bring themselves to before Porter grabbed hold of the 1's and 2's. Then dove head first into his electro house genre, exactly like it should be done. He sifted his way through a ginormous assortment of bangers such as Dada Life's brand new anthem "Rolling Stones T-Shirt", colleague Zedd's "Save The World" remix, Autoerotique's "Turn Up The Volume" and almighty banger from Avicii… "Levels". Porter Robinson truly went in on Lavo NYC with such a great selection the crowd couldn't help but love it, there was something in his set for every kind of EDM enthusiast. Only 19 years old (what may feel like an eternity away from his first legal drink) and he had patrons of one of the finest establishments in New York City flowing with drinks and rocking off the hinges until damn near dawn. Absolutely amazing.

04/07/2012 - Sebastian Ingrosso's conglomerate had Roseland Ballroom rumbling off its foundation on Saturday night. Refune Records brought along heavy hitters Otto Knows and Style Of Eye to join Ingrosso in delivering the rave New York City has been fiending for. The party was phenomenal, everything about it. The venue was mobbed with raging EDM addicts with an amazing set up including a brilliant laser show that illuminated the entire ballroom, enough dry ice for the rest of the decade, and a sound system that could guarantee hearing loss for a couple of days. The show kicked into high gear when Otto Knows took to the booth around 11:00 pm with an outstanding set warming up the early crowd with his very own debut track on Refune Records "Million Voices", an uplifting track that surfaced at the perfect time during his set. Otto Knows wrapped it up around midnight leaving the decks sizzling for Style Of Eye, who gave one of the most eclectic performances I have seen in a while. Dabbling with tracks like "N*ggas in Paris" by Kanye West & Jay Z, A-Trak's remix of Martin Solveig's "The Night Out", and also a remix of Nero's "Promises", there was something in it for everyone. A truly versatile set that had me hooked the entire performance and would love nothing more then for it to never end, and then the stage went black. Every single light inside Roseland Ballroom; killed and head honcho, Sebastian Ingrosso, took to his mega stage around 1:00 am and got right to it, literally, wasting zero time before dropping Absolut Vodka's sponsored anthem "Greyhound" by Swedish House Mafia along with 4 other Swedish House Mafia classics and about 35 massive bangers. Finishing his two night stand at Roseland Ballroom with a bang.
